Photos are to be of rhododendrons or azaleas, close up or in a garden setting such as Crystal Springs Rhododendron Garden.
To enter, submit a photographic print, between the sizes of 4 x 6 and 5 x 7,
with the accompanied entry form completed filled out taped to the back of the
print.
Entry forms are available at the Portland Home & Garden Show ARS booth,
Crystal Springs Rhododendron Garden Entry Gate and online at
www. rhodies.org
Maximum of 3 photos per person, each photo must have its own completed entry
form taped to the back.
The Contest is open to persons over age 18 who are not members
of the American Rhododendron Society

All photos become the property of the sponsor
and will not be acknowledged or returned.
All entries will be judged by a panel of judges chosen by the ARS-Portland
Chapter. Evaluation will include composition, creativity, and photographic
skill.
Announcement and display of the winning photos will take place Saturday, May
10th, 2008 at noon in the rhododendron show display building inside Crystal
Springs Rhododendron Garden at S.E.28th Avenue, 1 block north of Woodstock.
Winners will be notified prior to May 10th.
Prizes:
Grand prize is a $100.00 gift certificate for the Elizabeth Street Inn in Newport,
OR
2nd prize is the book “The Pacific Coast Rhododendron Story” and a rhododendron
plant.
3rd prize is free admission to Crystal Springs Rhododendron Garden & the Cecil & Molly
B. Smith Garden for 2008
