October 27, 2005, 7:30 pm,
All Saints Episcopal Church, 4033 S.E. Woodstock

Chapter member Kath Collier will speak on rhododendrons in the landscape. BUT, she isn't just talking about flowers, indeed, she wants to talk about the value of rhododendron foliage in the landscape.

She will talk about how to create a glitter effect in your garden that will endure year around. The focus will be on color, contrast, bloom seasons, and light patterns. Ideas will be illustrated with pictures from the Isabella Plantation in London, and from other gardens.

Kath is an artist, photographer, a National Flower Club student judge, and a writer. She is a part-time teacher in computer graphics, digital photography, and web design, and has been worked for several years as a writer and photographer for several news magazines
