For our meeting on January 15 we will have a different sort of program.
Last Spring when Mike Bones was here, he showed us some rhododendron stamps. Our President thought that was pretty interesting so she contacted the Oregon Stamp Society.
Don Langacher and Sharlene Wilkey gleefully consented to educate us on their favorite subject. They will tell a bit about the history of stamp collecting and show us what a stamp exhibit looks like. The focus of course will be on rhododendron stamps and they are going to ask us to participate in their program.
Don and Sharlene will project enlarged stamp images and we will be challenged to identify the rhodos on those stamps. The person with the most right answers gets a prize!
