Gwen Belll is an entertaining speaker and an expert on Halfdan Lem, a 'giant' in the development of rhododendrons in the US.
She will speak on the topic of the infamous Rum Dum Club, which had Lem as a prominent member. This informal group of early rhododendron afficionados developed many of the rhododendrons that are found in gardens all over the country.
